The Fair Work Commission announced its minimum wage ruling this afternoon for the 2016/17 financial year.

From the first full pay period after 1 July 2016, all award rates of pay will increase by 2.4%.
If you have an enterprise agreement or any other form of collective agreement, your rates of pay will also likely increase as a result of this ruling. However, in most cases you will not have to pass the increase on in full.
