Employment Innovations has today announced it has received Employer of Choice in the 2015 HRD Awards. Alongside the winning award, it was further acknowledged for its performance across the career progression, culture and engagement, and leadership categories.
The recognition confirmed Employment Innovationโs continuing investment and efforts to create a world-class workplace for its employees. Following a recent funding announcement earlier in the year from Partners for Growth for USD$4 million (AUD $5.1 million) the company is continuing to kick big goals.
โWeโve experienced an incredible year of growth. As we continue to expand, opening offices across both Singapore and the United Kingdom, weโre focused on hiring A-Players who have the same determination and drive as the Employment Innovations brand,โ said Ben Thompson, founder and CEO of Employment Innovations.
โThe award is a testament to the culture that we have created, built on passion, innovation, hard work and loads of fun. We set cascading goals, developed so that each employee can appreciate that they are a valued member, working towards our inspiring mission. That is, our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to permanently improve the way employment is managed around the worldโ he continued.
The Employer of Choice inaugural survey developed by HRD magazine collects data from over 2,000 employers nationwide and identifies those who are going above and beyond to develop outstanding workplaces. Employment Innovations was joined alongside other Australian employers who ranged from industries across banking, health, hospitality, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, professional services and more.
This year the awards body saw an increase in workplaces concentrating on the importance of employee well being and implementing formalised programs to encourage workplace health.
Ben explains that, โThe health and wellbeing of our staff comes first and foremost. We offer flexible working schemes, flu shots, yoga classes, lunchtime soccer and netball, personal training and fresh fruit delivered to the office. Forward planning to keep our employees happy and healthy is key, and will ultimately guide Employment Innovations to be a world leader in managed employment.โ
