On 1 February 2019 the Professional Employees Award 2010 was amended to extend its coverage to include independent medical research institutes, and a new medical researcher “stream” added to the Award.
The Professional Employees Award 2010 now covers certain employees working in the following roles: engineers, information technology and telecommunications service professionals, scientists, quality auditors and medical researchers.
