WeSupportU is an Australian registered NDIS provider who helps clients understand and implement their NDIS Plan. Specialising in disability support, they offer a range of services and therapy to NDIS recipients. WeSupportU employs a diverse workforce of both casual and salaried staff, with teams working in both an office and field capacity. Due to the nature of their dynamic workforce, they employ people across a range of contracts and Modern Awards.

These complex regulations uphold the safety and protections of both teams and clients, making it crucial to stay ahead of legislative changes and to remain aware of nuances within the evolving industry.

HR Connect reviewed all contracts and Policies and Procedures and immediately highlighted the critical areas for improvement. From these reports, their Executive Officer placed all staff on an appropriate award, and used HR Connect templates to provide updated employment contracts for all staff with consistent position descriptions and key performance indicators. HR Policies and Procedures templates from HR Connect were also used to either update existing policies, or create new policies for the organisation.
There is a sense of relief and confidence, as internal teams have access to the advice that allows them to better manage performance in their teams, and gain greater insights during these processes. HR Connect has also been able to assist WeSupportU with creating personalised contracts that comply with the relevant Modern Awards and reflect the type of work carried out.
