Q. Is the Employee Assistance Program confidential?
Accacia EAP is an independent EAP provider which ensures counselling sessions remain confidential. In accordance with the Privacy Act, Accacia EAP will never disclose personal details to anyone without written consent.
Q. Will the service cost my employees?
Short-term counselling (3 or 6 sessions per employee per annum) is offered free of charge to your employees. Its is also possible to extend the service to your employees immediate family members.
Q. Will I know if one of my employees book an EAP session?
No, Accacia EAP does not disclose any information relating to EAP session to managers or employers. Individual employee names are never disclosed unless consent has been given – the EAP service is highly confidential.
Q. Where can my employees have an appointment?
Accacia EAP have a network of highly qualified, registered psychologists and counsellors across Australia. They will arrange assistance for your employee in a convenient locations close to where they work or live. Phone, video link/live chat options are also available if preferred.
