Accessing HR Expertise

Hi, I’m Alana from Employment Innovations and I’m here to provide your business an introduction to Principle 2 of our 8 Lean HR Principles.

Principle 2 is to give your managers access to HR expertise to help them make better and faster decisions.

The industrial landscape that governs employment and HR in general is tough, and it’s even difficult to manage and wrap your head around as an expert. It’s not reasonable to expect your managers, or even your internal HR team, to be an expert in all aspects of HR. For this reason, it’s important to partner with someone who can not only be there to assist when a complex issue pops up, but also a strategic partner who can compliment your existing expertise and help you start kicking those goals.

When looking for an HR service provider or strategic partner, it’s important to make sure that you can receive advice in a timely manner. Delays when it comes to people’s decisions can be costly and complex.

Outside of timely advice, is pragmatic advice. Your HR Partner should have an understanding of your business, and as a result, be able to provide you with options when it comes to people related decisions that are realistic and practical.
