Additional Features on KeyPay

Jasmine: Today, I’ll be highlighting some of the additional functions available to your business in KeyPay as a Managed Payroll client. Our Payroll team can help take over some of your payroll obligations, and make these a lot easier for your business to manage. 

Let’s take superannuation as an example. As part of managed payroll, we’ll process superannuation batches in line with your business needs, whether that be monthly or quarterly. We will capture all of your employee superannuation accruals for the period in a batch, which is then sent through to our Clearing House, Beam. From here, the contributions will be distributed to employee super funds. If there are any issues with the batch, such as incomplete employee details, our Payroll team will be in touch with you to let you know what we need in order to complete the process. 

Depending on your tax obligations, we can also calculate and process PAYG payments directly to the ATO on your behalf with each pay run. This works great for large turnover businesses who process a monthly pay run.

Award interpretation is one of the most powerful features of KeyPay. KeyPay has over awards pre-installed ready to use. If you have employees who are covered by award conditions, we will apply the relevant award which will work in conjunction with timesheets and rostering in KeyPay to calculate any relevant penalty rates, overtime, and allowances your employees are entitled to based on their hours worked. This ensures compliance across the board, and we love compliance here at EI.
