In this video, we will be touching on reporting in KeyPay including common reports to use, payroll, time and attendance data, and how to filter, export and automate reports.
Reporting in KeyPay
Jasmine: Hi, I’m Jasmine from Employment Innovations. Today we will be touching on a few common reports in KeyPay for your employees, and time and attendance data. I’ll be showing you how you can filter reports, export them and also how to automate reports with report packs. Let’s take a look!
Reports in Key Pay are separated into employee reports, payroll reports and time and attendance reports. Additionally, while we can’t take Payroll Tax reporting and payments off your hands as a managed payroll client, we can make the process easier with the payroll tax report. This allows you to drill down by the period you need to report on, which month or financial year you’re reporting on, and also by location which is great for reporting by state. The report will give you a breakdown of what has attracted payroll tax by location. All of our reports can be run in KeyPay, or they can be exported into a format that suits you best.
We’ll take a look at the Employee Details Audit report next. Most of the reports are highly customisable, where you can select what fields you would like to report on. In this report, you can filter by location, pay schedule and add in the sections you would like to report on. And of course, export it into a format that suits your business.
Under the time and attendance reports, you also have a live view of when and where your employees are clocking in and out of, allowing you full visibility, even if you’re out of the office.
Report Packs allows you to automate sending selected reports at a certain time to people within your business via email. This can be handy if you have a meeting at the same time each month to review the previous month. You simply name your report pack, set up a schedule, select the reports to be included and then add your recipients, and they’ll be sent out without you needing to remember each month!
I’ve only touched on a few reports here today, but as you can see there are a lot of reports you can run in Keypay to help collate detailed payroll information across all areas of the function.
